Recent Advances in Autism Research: Seminar Topic for 04.01.2011

This week’s topic for Recent Advances in Autism Research is: Systematic Review of Interventions for Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders. T. A. McDonald will present.

Recent Advances in Autism Research is a multidisciplinary weekly seminar discussing peer-reviewed intervention research. During each meeting, a guest speaker will present a value-added summary of an autism intervention article and will lead a discussion with attendees after the presentation.

10:00-11:00 am, Every Friday.

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students With Autism

This week’s topic for the UW-Madison Department of Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education seminar “Recent Advances in Autism Research“, will be Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students With Autism, presented by Saili Kulkarni.

Brian Iwata Functional Analysis Workshops In Upper Midwest

Dr Brian Iwata will conduct a two-day workshop, “Functional Analysis & Treatment of Severe Behavior Disorders,” May 10 – 11 in Ann Arbor, MI and May 12 – 13 in Minneapolis, MN.

All will receive a certificate of attendance. BCBAs will receive 12 Type II CE credits and Psychologists will receive 11 CE Credits. Register now – Our workshops sell out quickly.

Recent Advances in Autism Research: Topic For 03.11.11

On Friday, March 11, 2011, TA McDonald, doctoral student in Psychology at UW-Madison, will present “Parent-implemented Social Skills Instruction to Improve Friendships for Teens with Autism” at Recent Advances in Autism Research from 10-11am Education Building (UW-Madison campus, 1000 Bascom Mall, Room 427).
